Cyndi
Cyndi Lou, as some call me

Hi there!

I’m Cynthia or Cyndi or Cyndi Lou Who and I’m glad to meet you.

Welcome to my corner of the webiverse.

Who am I?

Well, rather than give you a run-down of all the little things I do in chronological order – that’s sort of boring, don’t you think? – let me share a few things about myself so you can understand better who I am.

I’m a blogger.  I’ve been blogging since 2008, here and there, and I’ve learned a lot since then.

I started this site in 2012 and it’s been an evolving journey.  One where I’ve met people from all over the world, and has taught me a lot about myself. I hope it will inspire others.

I have a lot of different interests and they all sort of fuse together here on my little website.

In my other life I am a new director of an After School program to bilingual (Spanish and English) students. It’s fulfilling work.

I just finished my master’s degree in Spanish and K-12 Teaching. And yes, that’s the day job. But by night I am Cat in the Hat.

Just kidding. I write. And I write some more. And I have these juices. They’re all different colors. And I splatter them on my canvas…my web canvas, that is.

I’ve dabbled here and there in art and photography, but the older I get, the more I need to write.

And well, if you’re here, you never know what you’re gonna get.

I’m an intensely spiritual person.  It’s what makes me “go.”  I spend time meditating every day.  I spend time in nature every day. It’s what I do.  It’s who I am.

One thing’s for sure: I try to live a message of mutual respect, reverence for Mother Earth, peace, love and understanding to reach the far corners of the planet.  I’m doing that one post at a time. Maybe with a photo. Or a painting. Or a house project. Or an ebook…

Where was I?

And if you need to contact me…

Just fill out this here form. I’ll get back to ya as soon as I can.

  1. That is so funny that you have a list of words that you just happen to like; for no particular reason in fact! I too am facinated by certain words, and always felt “weird”, or “the only one who thought tha way”, so I’m relieved to read about someone else who does the same. I wanted to major in English, when I discovered that I wanted to write; but instead majored in Communications at UoP, online, and cannot continue at this point, or find work…..yes, very depressing. I’m not far enough into my educational journey to actually try and WRITE, nor am I confident enough to allow people to read things I’ve written. Did you ever go through that? Or, am I alone on that one? Anywho, I will subscribe to your blog in the hopes that I can learn something from you….I love to learn! Thanks!

  2. Oh, it’s me again….I also was joyed to learn that you are a fellow Lefty! I am too, however, I only do a handfull of things with my left; otherwise I am ambidextrious and do so many things with my right side. I use the word side because it goes far beyong just my hands, including, but not limited to, my feet, legs, arms, photogenic side, the side that gets the most injuries, the side I hit or kick with, and the side I generally tend to sleep or lean on. I think they’re all somehow related, but am no specialist on it, but would someday love to pick a specialists brain as to why my sides are all mixed up!
